Branislav Dimitrijevich (DDS, PHD) was born in 1939 in Belgrade, Serbia. He was a professor of maxillofacial surgery at Faculty of Belgrade, Serbia, Division of Dental School.
He published over 160 scientific and specialty related works in various fields of dentistry; they are dealing with maxillofacial prosthetics, forensic dentistry, medical law, biomaterials, History of Medicine and Dentistry, as well as History of Astronomy.
He is a member of Association of Medical Law and as such one of co-authors of “Codex of Medical Ethics in Serbia”.
Under the literary name of Brana Dimitrijevich, he published novels, stories, essays, travel books and others. Some of his works are: “The Ballad of Koshava Wind”, “Lark in the Garden of Omens”, “To die in Armenia”, “Dentistry and Culture”, “In the Container - a war diary of a Serbian surgeon in the years 1916-1918 –“, “The Yerevan Prophecy” “Michael’s Bulgakov’s Belgrade Nightmare - Dog’s Heart Part Two.”
He has also written a play for television, and nearly ten of his plays had been broadcast over the radio. He was a scenarist and an anchorman to several scientific and documentary films he has produced for television. The most recent ones are Legend about Dragomanci and The Basement of Holly Sacrifices.
